2005年より音楽プロデューサーとして活動を開始。EXILE、倖田來未、少女時代、三浦大知、Crystal Kay、BoA、宮野真守、三代目 J Soul Brothers、BE:FIRSTなど数多くのヒット作を手がける一方、近年ではAwichやゆっきゅんといったアップカミングなDIVAの作品にも参加しジャンルや世代を超えて独自のサウンドを追求。さらに、AMEFURASSHI『Four Hearts』においては、"かわいい"に依存しないアイドル像の提示に挑み、全楽曲の作詞・作編曲・プログラミングを一貫してプロデュース。

2021年からは「エス・ティ・ワイ」名義でシンガー・ソングライターとしての活動も本格化。オルタナティヴでアンニュイな音楽性が注目を集め、「接吻マイハート」はSpotifyが選ぶCity Pop年間ベスト50曲（2021年）に選出された。

sty [pronounced "es-tee-wye"] is a Tokyo-based, award-winning music producer and songwriter known for his genre-blending productions across the J-POP and Asian pop music scenes. He has written and produced chart-topping songs for EXILE, Girls’ Generation, Kumi Koda, Daichi Miura, BoA, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, and BE:FIRST.

In recent years, he has worked with rising DIVA figures such as Awich and Yukkyun, showcasing his ability to navigate between mainstream power and underground aesthetics. His full production of AMEFURASSHI’s “Four Hearts” EP challenged conventional idol pop narratives, offering a more introspective and unorthodox sonic identity for the group.

Under his solo artist name "sty", he also explores alternative pop textures and lyrical depth. His song “Don’t Break My Heart” was featured in Spotify’s “Best 50 City Pop Songs of the Year” in 2021.
